Cellusion CEO Shin Hatou spoke at the 6th Regenerative Medicine EXPO TOKYO as a special guest speaker
The 6th Regenerative Medicine EXPO Tokyo is being held at Tokyo Big Sight from June 26 to 28, 2024. Approximately 900 companies exhibit regenerative medicine-related products and services.
It is one of Japan’s largest exhibitions specializing in regenerative medicine and cell therapy, where visitors can learn about the latest trends, case studies, and industry developments.
Four exhibitions for pharmaceutical technologies are being held as well:
INTERPHEX JAPAN (Manufacturing & Packaging), in-PHARMA JAPAN (APIs/ Pharmaceutical Ingredients), BioPharma Expo (Biopharmaceutical) and PharmaLab Tokyo: formerly BIOtech Japan (Drug Discovery)
On June 27, the second day of the conference, Cellusion CEO Shin Hatou participated in a special lecture on “Start-up Companies Pioneering Regenerative Medicine.”
In the lecture titled “Realization of New Corneal Regenerative Medicine Using iPS Cells,” he spoke about the background and progress of research and development of a new cell therapy using iPS cells for bullous keratopathy, which Cellusion is developing, and how this technology will solve the problems associated with corneal transplants.
After the lecture, many audiences asked questions and continued to interact with him until closing time.
